Actor Madness Rules and Info

Hello High Rise Fans,
It’s time to find out what actor will be joining the cast during season 2 of HIGH RISE.
Last Fall, we received 61 video submissions from actors all around the country that were interested in acting on HIGH RISE which is filmed in Atlanta, GA. If YOU are one of those actors, the following message is VERY important to you.

Starting March 22nd at 12 am e.s.t. fans of HIGH RISE will be voting on their favorites in our Acting Madness Tournament that will consist of 61 actors in a bracket of 64. 3 random actors will receive a “bye” in the first round of competition. The following is the schedule for the competition. Actors were placed in the bracket via a random drawing for the first round. The champion will be flown to Atlanta from any city served by AirTran Airways (www.AirtranAirways.com).**

Round 1 (Round of 64)…March 22nd thru April 9th. Voting for round 1 will be on March 26th, April 2nd and April 9th. You will be able to vote 3 times in round 1. Round 1 voting deadline is 5 pm e.s.t. on April 11, 2010.

Round 2 (Round of 32)…April 12th thru April 23. Voting for round 2 will be on April 16th and April 23rd. You will be able to vote 2 times in round 2. Round 2 voting deadline is 5 pm e.s.t. on April 25, 2010.

Round 3 (Sweet 16)…April 26th thru April 30th. Voting for round 3 will be on April 30th. You will be able to vote 1 time in round 3. Round 3 voting deadline is 5 pm e.s.t. on May 2, 2010.

Round 4 (Elite 8)…May 3rd thru May 7th. Voting for round 4 will be on May 7th. You will be able to vote 1 time in round 4. Round 4 voting deadline is 5 pm e.s.t. on May 9, 2010.

Round 5 (Final 4)…May 10th thru May 14th. Voting for round 5 will be on May 13th. You will be able to vote 1 time in round 5. Round 5 voting deadline is 5 pm e.s.t. on May 16, 2010.

Round 6 (Championship)…May 17th thru May 21st. Voting for round 6 will be on May 21st. You will be able to vote 1 time in round 6. Round 6 voting deadline is 5 pm e.s.t. on May 23, 2010.

Voting is allowed 1 time per IP address per round. The Champion will be announced on Monday May 24th.

Voting polls will open before 12 pm e.s.t. on the stated day for each round and close at 5 pm e.s.t. on that stated Sunday.

**LEGAL RULES** The champion will be flown at producer’s expense to Atlanta from any city served by AirTran Airways (www.AirtranAirways.com) where they will work as a local hire for 1 episode of High Rise. Actors are responsible for accommodations and transportation in Atlanta and understand that they must not be a member of any actor’s union to be eligible to work on High Rise as it is a “non-union” show. SAG Fi-Core actors are eligible to participate. High Rise producers reserve the right to modify the rules to this contest at any time.

Internet: Sponsor is not responsible for electronic transmission errors resulting in omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operations or transmission, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to or alterations of entry materials, or for technical, network, telephone equipment, electronic, computer, hardware or software malfunctions or limitations of any kind, or inaccurate transmissions of or failure to receive entry information by Sponsor or presenter on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any Web site or any combination thereof. If for any reason the Internet portion of the program is not capable of running as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of this Promotion, Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Promotion. Sponsor further reserves the right to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process. Sponsor may prohibit an entrant from participating in a Promotion if it determines that said entrant is attempting to undermine the legitimate operation of the Promotion by cheating, hacking, deception or other unfair playing practices or intending to abuse, threaten or harass other entrants. Caution: Any attempt by a participant to deliberately damage any Web site or undermine the legitimate operation of the Promotion is a violation of criminal and civil laws and should such an attempt be made, Sponsor reserves the right to seek damages from any such participant to the fullest extent of the law.

Limitations of Liability: The Released Parties are not responsible for: (1) any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by entrants, printing errors or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Promotion; (2) technical failures of any kind, including, but not limited to malfunctions, interruptions, or disconnections in phone lines or network hardware or software; (3) unauthorized human intervention in any part of the entry process or the Promotion; (4) technical or human error which may occur in the administration of the Promotion or the processing of entries; or (5) any injury or damage to persons or property which may be caused, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, from entrant’s participation in the Promotion or receipt or use or misuse of any prize. If for any reason an entrant’s entry is confirmed to have been erroneously deleted, lost, or otherwise destroyed or corrupted, entrant’s sole remedy is another entry in the Sweepstakes, provided that if it is not possible to award another entry due to discontinuance of the Promotion, or any part of it, for any reason, Sponsor, at its discretion, may elect to hold a random drawing from among all eligible entries received up to the date of discontinuance for any or all of the prizes offered herein.

Disputes: Except where prohibited, entrant agrees that: (1) any and all disputes, claims and causes of action arising out of or connected with this Promotion or any prize awarded shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and exclusively by the United States District Court for the Northern District of Georgia (Atlanta Division) or the appropriate Georgia Superior Court located in Fulton County, Georgia; (2) any and all claims, judgments and awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, including costs associated with entering this Promotion, but in no event attorneys’ fees; and (3) under no circumstances will entrant be permitted to obtain awards for, and entrant hereby waives all rights to claim, indirect, punitive, incidental and consequential damages and any other damages, other than for actual out-of-pocket expenses, and any and all rights to have damages multiplied or otherwise increased. All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules, or the rights and obligations of the entrant and Sponsor in connection with the Promotion, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of the State of Georgia, without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules (whether of the State of Georgia or any other jurisdiction), which would cause the application of the laws of any jurisdiction other than the State of Georgia.
