HIGH RISE in the AJC
1st Day of Principal Photography–OFFROADING!!
Today was the first day of filming for HIGH RISE and we got dirty and had a blast. Rob Pralgo (Marcus Hunt) and Cynthia Evans (Elizabeth Hunt) got to rip through creeks, ditches and steep inclines all day in a sweet 2009 Hennessy Land Rover LR3. We filmed a scene at the HENNESSY LAND ROVER test track which is just 20 minutes south of Atlanta near the beautiful SERENBE, GA. This is a very cool ranch right on the Chatahoochie River. It was cool to see how the Land Rover handled the earth the way it was designed to do instead of trucking down the pavement in Atlanta. We were thrilled to have the opportunity to enjoy a brisk sunny day with the cameras rolling. Look for the scene to show up in Episode 5 on Tuesday April 14th.

Holly Firfer to play KRAFT FOODS Exec on HIGH RISE
Atlanta and Company (Weekdays at 11 am on WXIA-TV Atlanta) Co-Host Holly Firfer has signed on to the cast of HIGH RISE. Firfer will play “Ruth” who is a KRAFT FOODS executive who takes a meeting with “Paul” (Greg Corbett) and brings some business to his advertising business. Thanks to FOOD 101 for having the cast out for a dinner to launch HIGH RISE! Look for FOOD 101 and sister pub MEEHAN’S PUBLIC HOUSE during Season 1 of HIGH RISE. FOOD 101 on Roswell Road will be where you see several cast members dining out and Reese (Heather Smith) and Devon (Marla Malcom) both have jobs in the story at MEEHAN’S. Both amazing restaurants will show up plenty of times during the season. Next time you are at one of these spots, make sure there isn’t a camera rolling on you!
