Born and raised in Charlotte North Carolina, Heather Leigh Smith discovered her passion for the arts at a young age. Beginning at two years old she trained rigorously in ballet, jazz, tap and lyrical dance. Her training began with Miss Donna’s School of Dance where she remained for twelve years then transferring her practice to Rhythm Dance Studio for the next four years. Both competitive studios prepared Heather with the discipline necessary to grow to the artist she is today.

While studying at the University of Georgia for her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Speech, Heather was scouted at the XXIst Century Showcase in Atlanta, GA by Elite Atlanta Lifestyle where she is currently represented as a model and actress. Kitty Bundy, her agent and mentor has provided Heather with the guidance and support needed to begin and maintain her career. Other major influences have been her acting coaches of yourAct, Della Cole, Bob Harter and Margie Haber. Within two short years Heather has appeared in a plethora of commercials, print ads, films, pilots and industrials.

When Heather is not working she enjoys traveling with her family, working with and riding her family horses, continuing to practice dance at Dance 101, and relaxing with a good book.
