High Rise – Leland Jones as “Ryan”

Leland Jones

A native of Kansas City and reared in Akron, Ohio, Leland L. Jones started in “the Business” as voice-over talent.  His moving from behind the microphone, to being in front of the camera, came at the urging of a friend as a bit of a dare…and one he is glad he accepted.

Having worked with industry icons such as Burt Reynolds, John Travolta, Cicily Tyson, Whitman Mayo, and many others, Leland’s credits cover the gamut from local theater, to television, movies, cartoons and commercials.  Whether playing Grandpa for the children’s program “Grandpa’s Garage”, the upscaled attorney in Tyler Perry’s “Daddys’ Little Girl’s”, hosting “Faith and Fame” on the Gospel Music Channel and providing the voice of Tower in the Lebron James’ “Power 23″ video comicbook series, Leland has consistantly displayed the enthusiasm and professionalism that brings to life any assigned character.  Says Leland, “As long as I am challenged, enjoying the atmosphere of the process, and befriending others as I go forward, I will always strive to make an impact in the industry.”

Concerning his latest challenge as Ryan Littlefield, Leland notes that, “Participating in ‘High Rise’ is truly an honor.  The environment is professional and high energy, and it’s always a pleasure to work with directors, actors and producers who let you work your craft, yet have the ability to keep you within the realm of the overall project.  Continue to look for great things from this collaborative team.”
